Following on from the great success of the Formula Fusion Karting Championship 2011, Fusion are delighted to present the Formula Fusion karting Championship 2012 - the premier outdoor karting event for the
structured cabling industry's petrol heads.
With one extra regional qualifier and two new circuits on the calendar, drivers will have the chance to race on the most prestigious outdoor kart circuits in the UK, with excitement guaranteed
as they hurtle around the tracks at up to 80mph sitting barely an inch above the ground in karts with silly power-to-weight ratios!
Take part for free in this year's Formula Fusion Go Karting Championship and you could win a full day PalmerSport Experience, driving six amazing high performance cars to their limit at the
Bedford Autodrome. Featuring four separate circuits, the Autodrome has been designed from scratch by former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer and is regarded as the world's best driving experience. The event
features:
- Ariel Atom - 245bhp at 8,000rpm, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, max speed 145mph
- Palmer Jaguar JP-LM - 250bhp, 3L V6, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, max speed 165mph
- Formula Jaguar - 250bhp, 3L V6, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, max speed 170mph
- Caterham 7 Superlight - 286bhp, 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds, max speed 130mph
- BMW M3 GTP - 420bhp, 4L V8, 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds, top speed 185mph
- LandRover Defender - 4 wheel drive with dual range and locking centre diff

There are six regional heats, starting in April at Thruxton and running monthly through to September, with the top four finalists from each heat progressing through to the Grand Final Grand Prix style race at Whilton Mills in
Hertfordshire.
Heat 1 - Thruxton Kart Circuit, Hants - Friday 20th April - Read the 2011 Race Report from this track
This is one of the very best outdoor kart circuits in the country. At 900 metres long, it's full of fast corners and challenging chicanes, including a flyover - a first for a UK outdoor kart circuit.
The 13bhp Thunderkarts can reach speeds of 55 - 60mph on track.

Nestling within picturesque Kentish woodlands, this superb karting circuit is world famous circuit for being where Formula 1 stars Johnny Herbert, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton learnt their trade and
in fact was where Lewis Hamilton was first introduced to McLaren boss Ron Dennis.
Heat 3 - Three Sisters, Greater Manchester - Friday 29th June
New to the Formula Fusion roster, Three Sisters is the premier outdoor karting venue in the North West. Easily accessible from Manchester and Liverpool, it is known as "The Jewel of The North" within the motor sport
fraternity.

The longest, fastest kart circuit in the world, coupled with fully race-prepared karts featuring twin 160cc engines, means drivers are hitting 80mph at the fastest point in the track. As wide as the M25
with a banked corner and every possible type of bend you could wish for, this is a karter's paradise.
Heat 5 - Grand Prix Karting, Birmingham - Friday 17th August
Another new addition to the Formula Fusion roster, the superb Grand Prix Karting is located just one mile from Birmingham city centre and stands unchallenged as the best go kart circuit in the Midlands.

The circuit is one of the oldest in the country and has seen many F1 starts over the years honing their driving skills on this demanding track as they rise up the motor sport ladder, including Jenson Button,
Anthony Davidson and Lewis Hamilton.
